Teen allegedly chokes dad over truck sale
OCALA (AP) – A 15-year-old in Ocala allegedly attacked and threatened to kill his father because the man sold a truck the teenager had been driving.
The boy was arrested on charges of battery against a person over 65. He has a lengthy criminal history and was already on probation for assaulting his father.
Upon learning Monday the 71-year-old man sold the truck, the teen allegedly demanded keys to another vehicle. When refused, he allegedly pushed his father to the ground and punched him three times in the face.
Later, he allegedly choked the man with a belt and said he would bury him in the back yard.
