Bodies of girl, man found in Lake Okeechobee
OKEECHOBEE (AP) – Crews have located the bodies of a girl and a man who fell into Lake Okeechobee when their boat tipped over.
Three people went into the lake during Friday night’s boating accident. A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy pulled an 8-year-old girl from the water. She was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
A sheriff’s office spokeswoman says the body of a 7-year-old girl was found early Saturday morning. On Saturday afternoon, crews located the man’s body.
