Teacher charged with gun possession
GAINESVILLE (AP) – Authorities say a teacher at a Gainesville high school has been arrested for having two loaded guns on school property.
An Alachua County deputy was sent to Eastside High School Friday to pick up Mark Stockdale and take him to the Gainesville Police Department for questioning about another incident.
While patting Stockdale down, the deputy reported finding a loaded Derringer in Stockdale’s pocket. Deputies then searched his car and found a loaded .44 caliber revolver.
