Matzo Ball a bash for single Jews
WEST PALM BEACH (AP) – Just because it’s Christmas, doesn’t mean South Florida Jews can’t enjoy a party. Hundreds of Jewish singles attended the annual Matzo Ball in Palm Beach County.
The 20-year tradition started in Boston and migrated to Boca Raton the following year. Party organizers opened clubs for bored Jewish singles and others who wanted to venture out on Christmas Eve.
At least three clubs around Palm Beach County held Matzo Ball events Wednesday night.
