14 Christmas trees stolen from Florida lot
TAMPA (AP) – You better watch out. That’s the message from deputies – and Santa – for whoever is behind the theft of 14 Christmas trees from a Florida tree lot.
Sometime between midnight at Tuesday morning, somebody stole 14 trees from the lot in Lutz, north of Tampa.
Owner Dan Parker has been selling Fraser firs for more than 50 years. Each costs $35 to $300. He says he now plans to install security cameras and hire a night watchman.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating.
