Officials: 1st-grader robbed classmate
PEMBROKE PINES (AP) – Officials say a 7-year-old South Florida elementary school student robbed a 6-year-old classmate at knifepoint in a school bathroom.
District spokesman Keith Bromery said Tuesday that the boys were in a Pines Lakes Elementary bathroom Nov. 26 when the older student held a kitchen knife he brought from home to the other boy’s nose and demanded his money. The younger boy complied.
Officials say the older student is serving a 10-day suspension.
