Community Cooperative announces October Mobile Food Pantry times and locations

TODAY: Oct. 1, 4:30-6 p.m. at Trafalgar Middle School

By Staff | Oct 1, 2024

Community Cooperative has released its October 2024 mobile food pantry schedule. For many in the community, putting food on the table is a constant struggle, which Community Cooperative recognizes and steps forward to help alleviate the burden.

“Mobile Food Pantries are an essential service that brings fresh produce, staple foods, and vital resources directly to neighborhoods and rural areas where traditional food distribution methods may fall short,” the organization said in a release. “By meeting people where they are, the mobile food pantry ensures that families, seniors, and individuals facing economic hardship can access the nourishment they need with dignity and ease. Beyond alleviating hunger, this initiative fosters a sense of community and resilience, demonstrating that together, we can overcome challenges and support one another in times of need. In a region as diverse and dynamic as Southwest Florida, the mobile food pantry stands as a beacon of hope and solidarity.”
