Arts for ACT Gala and Auction set for Oct. 5
Tickets are now available for 'The Swans' Black & White Ball fundraiser
The 35th annual Arts for ACT Gala and Auction will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center in downtown Fort Myers. “The Swans” Black & White Ball will make for an exciting evening of fun, fundraising, and incredible auction items to support ACT’s mission to end abuse and empower survivors in the Southwest Florida community.
“Our mission is to protect and empower victims of abuse, and the Arts for ACT Gala raises critical funds to do just that,” said Jennifer L. Benton, CEO of Abuse Counseling and Treatment (ACT). “The pandemic has increased violence, doubling requests for our services. That’s why this in-person event is so important — it’s a chance for the community to come together and show survivors how much we care.”
Chaired by Donna Lovejoy and Marcia Ross, this must-attend charity event will feature a live auction led by renowned auctioneer Scott Robertson, with prizes including luxury trips, hotel stays, and art from award-winning artists. The silent auction, filled with amazing items generously donated by local businesses, will also be a highlight of the evening.
Reserve your seats or VIP table now. Join in the best dressed contest, sip cocktails, dine, bid on your favorite items and dance the night away.
Arts for ACT is sponsored by Florida Weekly, CopyLady, The Bireley Foundation, Edison National Bank, All You Need Pest Control, First Horizon Bank, Lee Health, Goldberg Noone Abraham, Florida Gulf Coast University , Federal Technology Systems, Fred & Jean Allegretti Foundation, Pam Cronin, Juan Santiago and Xxpoh, Florida Academy, and Clive Daniel Home.
Proceeds directly support ACT’s free, safe, and confidential services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Tickets are available HERE. The registration, cocktails and silent auction start at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. and the live auction begins at 7 p.m., followed by dancing to The Original Studio 54 Band.
