Zion Lutheran Church announces 2023 Winter Concert Series

Zion Lutheran Church in Fort Myers has announced its 2023 Winter Concert Series. The Friday night concerts are free of charge — love offerings will be accepted to support the musical groups performing.

Opening the series will be a performance by Danny Funderburk on Jan. 27. Soul’d Out will perform Feb. 10, followed by the Ditchfield Family Singers Feb. 24. Rounding out the series will be the Concordia Nebraska Band Concert on Thursday, March 9, and Brass Music Element March 10.

Doors at the church, located at 7401 Winkler Road, open at 6 p.m. with the concerts beginning at 7 p.m. in the main church sanctuary.

Judy McLane to perform at St. Columbkille Catholic Parish Feb. 12

Broadway star Judy McLane will perform in concert Sunday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m., in Iona Hall at St. Columbkille Catholic Parish, 12171 Iona Road, Fort Myers.

An award-winning actress and vocalist, McLane broke records as the longest running lead in Mamma Mia! history on Broadway. She’ll be singing Broadway classics (including Mamma Mia!) as well as many of her favorite songs.

McLane will be accompanied by Lee Van Asten on piano/vocals and special guest vocalist, Fort Myers’ own Mark Sanders.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased in advance at the St. Columbkille Parish Office and at the door.
