Scheduled water main shutdown on Everest Parkway will occur Oct. 31

The city of Cape Coral is advising residents that a scheduled potable water main shutdown will occur in the area of Everest Parkway on Monday, Oct. 31, at 9 a.m. A map of the affected area is attached to this post.
City crews will be removing and replacing two fire hydrants. The shutdown will affect about 480 customers. Work should be completed by the end of the day Oct. 31. Affected residents will be notified via phone, text, and email.
Following the restoration of access to drinking water, we advise users to boil water for one minute or use bottled water as a precaution until the advisory has been lifted. This notification applies to water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, washing dishes, and brushing teeth.
