Florida Department of Health to hold Town Hall meeting July 27
The Florida Department of Health in Lee County is inviting Lee County residents to participate in the Lee County Community Town Hall meeting July 27, from 2-3:30 p.m. This Town Hall meeting will focus on receiving input from the community in selecting key areas to address in the 2023-2027 Community Health Improvement Plan. The CHIP is Lee County’s five-year collaborative approach plan for developing policies and defining actions to target efforts that promote the health of Lee County residents.
The meeting will start with a 30-minute presentation with data compiled on Lee County’s population. This will be followed by a brief explanation of the CHIP and the 16 areas of opportunity for improvement based on the most recent Community Health Assessment.
Finally, attendees will be asked to select two of the areas they find most important for improvement. The top areas that receive the highest interest will become the focus for the 2023-2027 Florida Department of Health in Lee County CHIP. The new CHIP will be a direct reflection of the county’s voice.
The meeting will be held at the Florida Department of Health in Lee County,
83 Pondella Road, North Fort Myers.
All community partners, organizations and individuals are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
