‘Taps’ on Fort Myers Beach

Cape Coral resident Mike Bortz played “Taps” on Fort Myers Beach this past Memorial Day. This was his fourth year playing “Taps” on the beach, where his in-laws have a home. “It is always a great honor to play ‘Taps’ and to see everyone standing, saluting, hand over their heart and tears flowing,” he said.
