Reeling for autism
Catch, photo and release fishing tournament to benefit Family Initiative
Salty Sam’s Marina on Fort Myers Beach will be hosting “Reeling for Autism,” a catch, photo and release tournament, Saturday, June 19, to support Family Initiative services and autism program in Southwest Florida. The Cape Coral nonprofit supports child welfare services, applied behavior analysis therapy and occupational therapy.
The cost to enter is $200 per angler, with four per team. Anglers can register at reelingforautism.com. There is no entry fee for family fun activities.

Friday, June 18
* Captain’s Meeting hosted at Parrot Key Caribbean Grill
* 6:30-7 p.m. Check-in
* 7-8:30 p.m. Captain’s Meeting with dinner, raffles and fun.
Entry is free to captains and anglers, with additional guest tickets $25.
Saturday, June 19
* Fishing Tournament & Family Fun hosted at Original Shrimp Dock Bar & Grill
