‘Rock and Roll Dreams’ musical tribute set for Saturday

“Rock and Roll Dreams,” a musical tribute to the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, is set for Saturday night at Cape Cabaret.

Featuring two powerhouse vocalists, Ariel Bartolo-Kira and Benny Israel, and an outstanding group of musicians to back them, the May 1 show delivers a variety show of songs and artist tributes: Magic Man (Heart), You May Be Right (Billy Joel), Don’t Stop Believin’ (Journey), Go Your Own Way (Fleetwood Mac), Come Sail Away (Styx), You’re the One I Want (Grease), Piece of My Heart (Janis Joplin). Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen), Sister Christian (Night Ranger), Take It On the Run (REO Speedwagon), Here I Go Again (Whitesnake), California Dreamin’ (The Mamas & The Papas), Hit Me With Your Best Shot (Pat Benatar), Africa (Toto), Carry On Wayward Son (Kansas) and more.

Show time is 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with the show to be held in the Ballroom, which features a dance floor.

Tickets are $10. There also is a special $10 cover (value $20)/$10 minimum purchase per person.
