All Souls Episcopal Church

plans Easter services

On Maundy Thursday, March 24, at 7 p.m., All Souls Episcopal Church at 14640 N. Cleveland Ave., in North Fort Myers, will hold a Footwashing Ceremony and share Holy Communion.

The Good Friday Liturgy will be offer at noon on Friday, March 25.

On Saturday, March 26, at 7 p.m., the church will have the Great Easter Vigil. Bringing in the light of Christ.

On Easter, March 27, there will be one service only at 9:30 a.m.

Branch of Life Christian Fellowship’s

Easter Sunday in the Park Celebration

Branch of Life Christian Fellowship will be hosting its 3rd Annual Easter Sunday in the Park Celebration Easter morning, March 27, at 10:30 a.m., at Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Road, Cape Coral. Join the congregation as it celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus with contemporary praise and worship, interpretive dancers, holy communion and a special Easter message by Pastor Tony Cubello. Tents and chairs will be provided. There is free parking, restrooms available and a playground for the kids. There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt.

The Branch of Life Christian Fellowship is a Spirit-filled, contemporary Christian church, located at 4810 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral. Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. with Children’s Church provided. Wednesday Bible Studies are at 7 p.m. All faith backgrounds are welcome.

Community Passover Seder April 23

The Tikvat Shalom Messianic Jewish Congregation is hosting a Community Passover Seder Saturday, April 23, at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Wesleyan Diplomat Church, 1833 Diplomat Parkway, East, in Cape Coral.

A $15 prepaid registration is required and includes a chicken and roasted potato dinner. The deadline to register is March 23.

SWFL Youth Symphony will perform “Fresh off the Road,” celebrating the Youth Symphony’s successful trip to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., this Sunday, March 20, at 4 p.m. $20 adult, $5 student/child/Discovery Club Member and are available in the church office and at the door.

SWFL Symphony presents: “A Soldier’s Tale” Tuesday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m. ($25 per ticket). A Stravinsky’s tale of soul sacrifice and its consequences in “A Soldier’s Tale,” conducted by Maestro Nir Kabaretti. Tickets available in the church office or at the door.

First Congregational Church

Easter services continue

First Congregational Church’s Easter services continue Palm Sunday, March 20, with the service at 10 a.m.; Maundy Thursday, March 24, with the service at 7 p.m. in the church; and Good Friday, March 25, with a service is from noon to 3 p.m., with music, readings, prayer and meditation. The Easter Service is at 9 a.m. with refreshments following.

Providence Christian School

to celebrate 30th anniversary

Providence Christian School will be holding its 30th anniversary celebration Saturday at 6:30 p.m., at Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Guest speakers for the program are Cory Lynch of the class of 1999 and Dr. Randy Thompson, a founding board member.

Providence Christian School opened in 1986 with one elementary class and has grown to a school serving children ranging from PreK-3 to 8th grade. PCS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

St. Katharine Drexel

to produce 100,000 meals

Starting March 28, hundreds of St. Katharine Drexel parish and community members in Cape Coral will work to feed thousands of starving children in the developing world.

Through a partnership between St. Katharine Drexel and Feed My Starving Children, volunteers will prepare 100,000 meals at this FMSC MobilePack event. The MobilePack will take place March 28 and 29 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish Hall, 1922 SW 20th Ave..

Community members can support this MobilePack by making a donation to cover meal costs, or by volunteering to package food at the event. Donations may be given immediately, and volunteer registration will be available until March 26. For more, visit fmsc.org/MobilePack/events and look for our event under the Florida listings.

to hold Quarter Auction

On Sunday, April 3, from 1-4 p.m., Temple Beth El, at 16225 Winkler Road in Fort Myers, is having a Quarter Auction benefit school scholarships. One hundred percent of the money raised will go for the scholarships.

There will be hot dogs, chips and drink combos, desserts and goodies available for sale. See what you can get for just quarters!

North Shore Alliance Church

to present ‘The Passion Experience’

North Shore Alliance Church in North Fort Myers will hold its outdoor drama walk-through, “The Passion Experience,” Friday and Saturday, March 25-26, from 7-9 p.m.

During the performance, Easter comes to life in this Passion Play as guests experience scenes that includes the Miracles, the Last Supper, the Cross, the Resurrection and more. Groups leave every 10 minutes as tour guides lead guests back in time to Jesus’ day where they will become part of the presentation with dancers, townspeople, a Roman soldier on horseback, the disciples, angels and more.

The Passion Experience is free – a gift from the church to the community. It is performed in a 3-acre wooded setting at the church at 330 W. Mariana Ave., in North Fort Myers.
