Its mission is to preserve, protect and promote Cayo Costa State Park so that present and future generations may continue to enjoy its natural beauty, its recreational opportunities and learn about its history through education, environmental stewardship and community partnerships.

The Friends of Cayo Costa State Park is based in Pine Island and is a division of Barrier Island Park Society, a 501C3 organization which is the official Citizens Support Organization for Cayo Costa, Stump Pass, North Captiva and Don Pedro State Parks.

All funds raised by FCC will be used exclusively for Cayo Costa Island State Park.
