Friends of the Cape Coral Library to meet Jan. 16
Join the Friends of the Cape Coral Library Saturday, Jan. 16, beginning at 9:30 a.m. with coffee, juice and snacks. The meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. followed a presentation by four Cape organizations: “Volunteering in the Cape.”
The Friends of the Cape Coral Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the resources and services of the Cape Coral library. The Friends raise funds to support programs and purchase materials for the library that are not covered by the Lee County budget. They provide monthly art exhibits in the library’s gallery featuring local artists. Volunteers maintain the exhibits and assist at receptions. As library advocates, members speak out in support of local, state and national libraries.
Meetings are held in the large meeting room at the Cape Coral Library, 921 SW 39th Terrace, Cape Coral. Friends meetings are free and open to the public.
