* Viva Cape Coral!

The Southwest Florida’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and The Pendas Law Firm will host the annual festival, Viva Cape Coral!, on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Sun Splash Waterpark at 400 Santa Barbara Blvd. in Cape Coral. This event is free.

There will be food and merchandise vendors throughout the event, businesses promoting a variety of products and services and a kids’ area with entertainment by Galacctin the Clown. The stage will be the center of entertainment with live musical performances by the international artist Ken-Y! There will also be local bands including Grupo Espali, Orquesta Tropical Sound and Arteaga y El Yen.

* Cape Coral Festival of the Arts

The Rotary Club of Cape Coral will hold its 31st Annual Cape Coral Festival of the Arts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, and Sunday, Jan. 10.

This annual art event showcases the works of more than 300 juried artists and artisans featuring fine art, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, photography, metal works, mixed media, and more.

The festival takes place on Cape Coral Parkway in downtown Cape Coral between Del Prado Boulevard and Vincennes. Free admission and parking.

The inaugural Achieva Academic Arts Fair tent, which will be located in Big John’s Plaza, will showcase the work of Lee County’s talented art students, grades K-12. All Lee County schools were invited to participate and enter up to 10 pieces into the competition. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to student artists during the festival.
