Cape Historical Society seeking applicants for board of directors
The Cape Coral Historical Society is currently accepting applications to serve on its board of directors. Board members take an active role in the operation of the Cape Coral Historical Museum, a community museum dedicated to preserving, displaying and sharing the unique character of Cape Coral for future generations.
Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and resume for consideration. Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria: a professional background suited to contribute to board diversity, expertise and connections in the community; and an understanding of and commitment to the time and active involvement expected of board members.
The board of directors meets at the Cape Coral Historical Museum on the first Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. Current projects of the board include strategic planning, special event planning and fundraising.
