Meghan M. Aguiar, center, was awarded a $500 scholarship from the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife by Friends’ Vice President Honey Phillips and Scholarship Committee Chairperson Shirley Paine. Aguiar graduated from Mariner High School and attends Florida Gulf Coast University with a special interest in environment and animal issues.
