* Allied Physical Therapy Free Open House

Allied Physical Therapy will hold its annual Open House on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 4-6 p.m. at its clinic at 1413 Viscaya Pkwy. Free food, drinks, giveaways, and prizes. * Grieving Center Open Houses

Valerie’s House for Grieving Families, a new nonprofit devoted to helping children and families work through grief following the death of a loved one, is inviting the public to visit its facility at 1618 Avalon Place in downtown Fort Myers from 1 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 15, or from 6 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 17, to coincide with National Children’s Grief Awareness Month. Tour the home, learn about its programs, and meet Valerie’s House leaders to become more familiar with this much-needed, new community service.

* Lifeline’s 5th Annual LifeWalk

LifeWalk 2015, a walk that gives LIFE, will step off at 7:45 a.m. Dec. 5 at Jaycee Park, 4125 SE 20th Place, Cape Coral.

There will be a continental breakfast to kick off the morning and keep walkers energized through the live music, face painting, balloon art, prize giveaways and a scavanger hunt.

Pre-register at www.lifelinefamilycenter.org/lifewalk by Nov. 23 for a free T-shirt); get people to sponsor you for walking; walk on Dec. 5 and help save two lives at one time.

LifeWalk is a fundraising walk that benefits moms and babies at Lifeline Family Center, a home and an alternative out of abortion for young women in crisis pregnancies. For more information call 242-7238.
