4th Annual Military Appreciation Day Saturday
The 4th Annual Military Appreciation Day for all veterans will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at First Christian Church, 2061 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers.
The event is open to all discharged veterans, medically retired, active duty and National Guard and Reserves.
Representatives from local universities and colleges will be on hand to discuss their programs along with local hiring employers.
Planned activities/information include: brunch provided, social support agencies, VA burial benefits, mental health benefits, eligibility and coordination of VA benefits, health screenings, hair cuts, widow benefits, aid and attendance for assisted living benefits, shopping at the free PX, dental information.
