Gabriella and Norah have demonstrated leadership attributes in their collaboration towards a humanitarian cause.
* Nathanael Ortiz Martinez
7th Grade
Caloosa Middle School
Natanael is a wonderful and caring student. While on hallway duty, Natanael found an iPhone 6 that a student had lost and turned it into the teacher. Because Natanael acted so quickly both he and his teacher were able to locate the owner of the phone. In this day and age it would have been very easy for Natanael to keep such an expensive phone but he chose to do the right thing and continues to be a model student.
* Kali Siegel
11th Grade
Oasis High School
Kali Siegel was responsive to an endangered sea turtle in trouble. She saw a mother turtle nesting, and spoke to two adults approaching the sea turtle and educated them about the importance of maintaining their distance.
