‘Stewardship of the Earth’
A Youth Art Fair is being hosted at Faith Presbyterian Church, from Oct. 22-27, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. The art fair is open to all K-12 Lee County students who can submit up to three pieces of artwork relating to the theme “Stewardship of the Earth,” emphasizing the creation and care of the Earth.
Religious and non-religious artworks are welcome to be submitted within the theme. Two and three-dimensional artwork will be on display in Fellowship Hall. The original or copy of the Best in Show will become part of the Permanent Collection of the church.
Entries will be accepted at the Faith Presbyterian Church, Fellowship Hall, Tuesday, Oct. 20, between 2-6 p.m. Judging will commence Wednesday, Oct. 21. A reception for the art fair will be Thursday, Oct. 22, from 5-7 p.m.
An awards presentation will be held in the sanctuary on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 6:30. One thousand dollars in awards will be presented with recognition for every grade level.
