9th annual Bible seminar to explore Book of Revelation
People of all faiths are looking to the Bible Book of Revelation as a way to put into context the political and religious events around us today. Some people look at the book of Revelation as one that preaches gloom and doom, but for those who will attend this free annual seminar presented by Pastor Roger Lucas, Ph.D., they will hear more of hope and happiness than of gloom and doom.
The next free Unlocking Revelation Seminar begins Friday Oct. 9, at 7 p.m., at the Genesis Center for Better Living, 1813 El Dorado Parkway, West, in the Southwest Cape (across from Cape Harbour). It continues for 7 weekends on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Dr. Lucas has his Ph.D. in New Testament Studies and has studied the Bible scriptures in the original languages. He has presented seminars like this one in several locations around Cape Coral and other locations in the U.S. Dr. Lucas presents the message of Revelation as one of hope and restoration with an emphasis on when Jesus will make all thing better for the world.
Participants attending the Unlocking Revelation seminar receive free colorful lesson guides and will see many inspiring and amazing photos and documents. Each evening is a particular topic of study, such as “Revelation, the Open Book: How to Understand It,” “The ‘Star’ of the Drama of Revelation,” “The ‘Villain’ of the Drama of Revelation,” “The Beast of Revelation Chapter 13,” etc. Those interested in attending may join in the classes at any session. CDs and DVDs of previously recorded sessions are available for a nominal cost. There is a team of screened volunteers who provide free child care for ages 4 to 10.
Dr. Lucas teaches the seminar as a community service event sponsored by Get a Life Foundation (a Florida non-profit organization), Amazing Facts Bible Ministry, the local Adventist Church of Cape Coral and local Christian volunteers.
