Branch of Life Christian Fellowship

The Branch of Life Christian Fellowship is at 4818 Coronado Parkway in Cape Coral and is a non-denominational, Spirit-filled, contemporary Christian fellowship. Cape Baptist Church

All 7th-12th graders are invited to come to the church’s Impact Youth Group. It meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8. The group plays games, enjoys snacks and learns how God wants teens to live their lives.

Kids ages 3 years old through 6th grade are welcome to visit the church each Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m., for AWANA Youth Clubs. The club plays games and learns about Jesus.

The Ladies’ Bible Study meets every Friday at 2 p.m. They are currently studying “Men of the Bible.” All ladies are invited to attend.

Methodist Church

GriefShare is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. The group meets every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion. GriefShare is a nondenominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Each session is “self-contained” so you do not have to attend in sequence. Questions? DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. CCFUMC will be offering this Biblically based 13-week support group on Tuesday nights from 6-8 in room 152. Child care is available upon advanced request. Foundations Early Learning Center provides childcare; preschool and afterschool care for children from 1 to 5 years old, as part of the growing family and youth programs at CCFUMC. Center for Spiritual Living Cape Coral

Located at 406 S.E. 24th Ave., in Cape Coral, the Center for Spiritual Living Cape Coral invites the public to visit its spiritual community to explore new possibilities for your life.

Christ Lutheran Church

The Christ Lutheran community continues to meet in its temporary home at Epiphany Episcopal Church, 2507 Del Prado Blvd. So, Saturday evening at 5:30 and Sunday morning at 9. Both liturgies this weekend are Healing Eucharists. Sunday the coffee hour following the liturgy will mark the one-year anniversary of Pastor Bogholtz’ arrival at Christ Lutheran. Wednesday evenings at 6:30, the youth group gathers.

Evangelical Presbyterian Church

The church is currently offering three Bible Study options for women this quarter. 1) Women’s Evening Bible Study (WEBS) from 6-7:45 p.m. on the first and third Monday nights of the month. The study is written by Dr. Kathleen B. Nielson and is titled: Colossians and Philemon: Continue to Live in Him. 2) Women of the Word is from 9-11 a.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. every Tuesday. The study is the book of Hebrews, and 3) Women’s Book Discussion/Support Group offered the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 6-7:30 p.m. This group is studying the book Idols of the Heart: Learning to Long for God by Elyse Fitzpatrick.

Faith Bible Fellowship

Faith Bible Fellowship is a family-oriented, non-denominational church that focuses on preaching truth from the word of God. The congregation worships God with a contemporary style of music, while keeping the focus on Christ. The church’s desire is to see Christ lifted up and God glorified as we minister to one another and our community.

The congregation meets Sunday mornings 10 at The Lake Kennedy Center, 400 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral. The church offers a safe and well staffed nursery for infants to preschoolers. At Faith Kids, children 5-11 will learn truth from the word of God and how it applies to their lives in a fun, and interactive environment. The youth group meets Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Real connection and growth happens in the church’s Connection Groups. These groups offer an opportunity to really connect with the body of Christ and to dig deeper into the word of God. There are also various Bible study times through the week.

Faith Presbyterian Church

Faith Presbyterian Church’s mission is to be a Presbyterian community of joy and excitement that promises to love, comfort and respect everyone through the challenging power of Christ. There are three Sunday Worship Services: 8:15 and 11 a.m., traditional worship; and 9:30a.m., an informal family worship. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month at all services and is open to all who seek to grow in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Care is provided for newborns to 3-year-olds in the nursery. Preschool children to 5th grade are welcome in Sunday school in Faith Center, which begins after children are dismissed during 9:30 am worship. First Church of God

First Congregational Church

Join the First Congregational Church, at 312 Santa Barbara Blvd., for worship service each Sunday at 10 a.m. Visitors will discover this a “small church with a big heart” with people who gather in faith, worship in freedom and live in fellowship.

Hope United

Methodist Church

Hope United Methodist Church welcomes everyone to join in a traditional worship service Sundays at 10:30 a.m. along with Children’s Church. Refreshments are served after worship.

The church wrapped up the “Feed the Children” food drive Saturday, May 16, collecting 210 pounds of food giving the church a grand total of $13 pounds collected May 9 and 16. All donations have been delivered to the Cape Coral Caring Center for distribution to the children.

Nancy Metz will be starting a four-week study group on one of Bill Hybel’s books. Anyone interested in attending should contact the church at 239-574-5570 for sign-up, times and dates during office hours.

Hop U.M.C. asks for God’s blessing for all veterans and for current military troops on Memorial Day, May 25.

The church collects supplies and mails boxes for our troops year around. Some items needed are snacks such as cookies, crackers, nuts, jerky, gum, ice pops, etc.; toiletries and comfort items such as razors, shampoo, toothbrushes, lip balm, combs, lotions, books, decks of cards, puzzle books, pens and stationary, etc.

Donations will be accepted at the church during office hours and all Sundays at the worship services.

The church’s “Missionary of the Month” is the Rev. Vander Pol, a missionary and professor for Miami International Seminary. He writes theology courses in English for students around the world who study with MINTS. He supervises students and study centers in Southeast Asia. He travels to India, Myanmar and the Philippines to teach and supervise the work of study centers there.

The Rev. Vander Pol was pastor of Trinity Reformed for 13 years before he went into full-time missions. Prior to that he pastored churches in Minnesota and New Zealand; he pastored churches for 30 years. He attended Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia and Calvin Theological Seminary. He holds a D.Min. from MINTS International Seminary.

He has written three courses and articles as well as a very important book on the Trinity:?”God in Three Perons:?Biblical Testimony to the Trinity.”
