Cape Coral Mayors Scholarship Fund theater night March 18
The Cape Coral Mayors Scholarship Fund will be sponsoring a theater night at the Cultural Park Theater Wednesday, March 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event will benefit the organization’s scholarship program for Cape Coral graduating seniors who will be pursuing their career dreams at the collegiate level.
This year’s event will feature a cocktail reception, catered dinner (thanks to Anne from Annie’s Restaurant) with beverages, auctions of various items donated by local businesses and individuals and Cultural Park Theater’s production of “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.”
This year, the Cape Coral Art League is hosting the dinner within its facility across from the theater.
Tickets are again priced at $30 per person.
The Cape Coral Mayors Scholarship Fund has been serving the local community through scholarships for 32 years and has distributed over $600,000 in scholarships to date. Last year, a record 24 individuals received $1,500 scholarships at the annual awards banquet (to be held April 30).
