Covenant Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers to host series of lectures in January, February
Free of charge lectures open to the public will be held at 10 a.m. each Wednesday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2439 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers during January and February.
January lecture schedule:
– Jan. 7: “From Big Bang to Big Mess” – can religious faith and science coexist? – presented by the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Deyoe, senior pastor, Covenant Presbyterian Church.
– Jan. 14: “Stories for Grown-ups” – handling the roles of parents and grandparents – presented by Dr. Sid Simon, Professor Emeritus, University of Massachusetts.
– Jan. 21: “Good Sports” – sports at FGCU – presented by David Moulton, News-Press sports columnist and local radio personality.
– Jan. 28: “Seed for Life” – blending science and technology into practical solutions for people in the greatest need – presented by Gary Winrow, managing director, Florida Urban Organics and iSeed.
