Poker Run

Arizona Pizza Company at 8700 Gladiolus Road in Fort Myers will host The First Harry Chapin Poker Run and Car Show to benefit The Harry Chapin Food Bank. Sheriff Mike Scott will lead the poker run from Harley Davidson of Fort Myers on Sunday, Nov. 15. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Harley Davidson Fort Myers with the last bike out at 11 a.m. The event will end at Arizona Pizza at Gladiolus and Winkler in South Fort.Myers. The Car Show begins at noon at the Gladiolus location with three live bands, food, drinks, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, bounce house, vendors and trophies for best in the show.

This event is open to the public with fun and excitement for the whole family. Miss Florida US International, along with 15 queens from across the state, will also be assisting with the festivities. Entertainment will be provided by the TJ Kelly Band, One Good Day, Jack Frost and 3 Below.

Dinner dance for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Beta Omega, a local chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, an international service sorority, is pleased to announce an upcoming dinner dance to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“Wine and Dine for Life” will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21, at The Club at Renaissance at 12801 Renaissance Way in Fort Myers. Cocktails and appetizers will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing to the music of Double Dare.

A silent auction will kick off the evening. Auction items feature a sightseeing airplane ride, various restaurant gift certificates, including Brio’s Tuscan Grill and Angelina’s and cooking classes and chef’s table at Carrabba’s. Double Dare will also be auctioned off for an evening of music and entertainment.
