Monsterbash 2009

Cape Harbour’s “Monsterbash 2009” Halloween Night festival is Saturday, Oct. 31. There will be treats for the kids and a costume contest. The merchants at Cape Harbour will be hosting a “trick or treat” walk for kids down the Promenade in addition to a children’s costume parade starting at 5 p.m. The Joint is hosting a pet costume contest starting at 6 p.m. Cape Harbour is located at 5703 Cape Harbour Drive in Cape Coral. Haunted Hike and Safe Trick or Treat

Mike Greenwell’s Family Park presents the Haunted Hike on Friday-Saturday, Wednesday and Oct. 29-31 at 35 Pine Island Road N. The cost is $10. There also will be a Safe Trick or Treat from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 30. Dress in costume and bring a goodie bag. This is a free event for children 12 and under. A donation of pet food and supplies will be accepted for LCHS and ARC. For information, call 574-4306.

BooSpecial

Cape Coral Association of Realtors presents BooSpecial Friday on Oct. 30 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Cape Coral Association of Realtors at 918 S.E. 46th Lane (on Club Square). A safe, family alternative to Trick-or-treat. Costume judging is at 7:30 p.m. There are categories for ages five and under, ages 6 to 10 and ages 11 and up. Admission is free. ‘Thriller’ All Night Skate

The Net’s “Thriller” All Night Skate will be from10:30 p.m.-6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. The night will be filled with rollerskating, dancing and games. The attendees will be able to participate in a haunted house within the rink, a zombie face painting, a special Thriller dance presentation will be put on by The Net employees and then a dance session where Ramon Martinez will instruct on the basics of the Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance. Nature Center & Planetarium Haunted Walk

The Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium Haunted Walk is open every night until Oct. 31 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Entrance fees are $10 for adults and $6 for children. Become a member and adults enter for $6, children for $3. With the new Family Membership Special of $40 for the year.
