Tee up at Sheriff’s Youth Activities League golf tourney

1 min read

Have you ever wanted to make Sheriff Mike Scott your ‘designated driver’?

You may have a chance to do just that at the Sheriff’s Youth Activities League’s upcoming golf tournament on Oct. 3.

Bogies and birdies will abound as duffers and other golf enthusiasts tee up to help raise funds for SYAL, a non-profit organization formed to build relationships between law enforcement and area youths through athletic and education-based programs.

The Tournament will take place at Copperhead Golf Course in Lehigh Acres on Oct. 3, with an 8 a.m. scramble start, followed by lunch and a raffle. Player sign-up fee is $75 per person, and sponsorship packages are available from the $100 Hole Posse to the ultimate $2,500 Sheriff For The Day. Players may enter and be assigned a team, or may sign up as a team.
