Harbour View Gallery welcomes photographer Lynn Berreitter and Lois Johnston, fused glass artist, as the September featured visiting artists. Artfest 2010
Call for artists for Artfest Fort Myers 2010. The 10th annual downtown, juried fine art festival showcases the work of 200 fine artists and fine craftsmen. Also includes food, entertainment, a children’s Art Yard and Art Under 20, and a high school art competition. Festival dates are Feb. 6-7, 2010. Application deadline is Sept. 16. HOWL Gallery
The HOWL Gallery presents “Southwest Florida Lives!” 1st Annual Group Show. The non-juried group exhibit showcases new and existing talent in Southwest Florida. Featured artists include Daniel Calvert, Andrya Campbell, Heather Clough, Michael Damico, T.C. Dorler, Veron Ennis, Doug Heslep, Andy Howl, Kyle Jackson, Matt Lackey, Chet Loggins, Eric Lorette, Eve Lynch, Ryan McIntosh, Don Murphy, Eustaquio Pacot, Crissy Penuel, Scott Snyder and others.
The HOWL Gallery features local and national contemporary artists and mixes in pop culture, such as graphic novels and designer art toys, with a tattoo studio. – Sept. 25: One-hour premiere of the fifth season of Art:21 – Art in the Twenty-First Century at 7 p.m. at Foulds Theater, followed by a reception in the Main Gallery. Admission is free, but reservations are required. The event will feature four artists whose works or personal stories transport viewers to imaginary worlds and altered states of consciousness.
