CCPD to host volunteer class
The Cape Coral Police Department is accepting applications for the Community Volunteer Academy. Classes will be held from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 59. Volunteers are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per month to remain current in the program. To be eligible, applicants must possess a valid Florida driver’s license, be a resident of Lee County and be willing to undergo a background check.
