Dancing, Doodz and Dining

Dance with the Fred Astaire Dance Studios, enjoy music from the Catman Doodz and dine on prime rib Saturday in the Dolphin Room at the Shell Factory & Nature Park on U.S. 41 in North Fort Myers. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $10. Event to benefit the South Florida Mason’s Children’s Charities. Admission includes a free dance lesson at a future date at Fred Astaire Dance Studios. Love that Dress

All women of Lee County are encouraged to donate any dress they no longer need Thursday and Aug. 27 at Oasis, 3040 Oasis Blvd., Fort Myers, and receive a tax write off and a ticket to the Sept. 1 event. We gather to buy the dresses at a very low cost, along with donated items from local retailers. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to PACE. For reservations, call 334-2345, ext. 304.
