‘Heart Health … The Beat Goes On!’ set
The Florida Wellness Alliance has started a series of 12 wellness presentations, titled “Wellness Defined,” that are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
The August presentation, “Heart Health … The Beat Goes On!” will be held on Aug. 19, at the Florida Wellness Alliance Training Center.
Heart Health will be presented by Dr. Alan Tannenbaum, of Primary Care Associates and focuses on the basics of genetics and lifestyle choices that affect cardiovascular health and what’s new in both traditional and complementary medicine.
Whether one is healthy and practicing prevention or has cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, high homocysteines or high triglycerides, learn how small changes can make a big difference. By practicing wellness, you can “rewrite your future health history.”
A reception immediately follows Dr. Tannenbaum’s presentation for questions and a complimentary tasting of AS10, a new super food developed through joint research with NASA/Johnson Space Center.
The public is invited and there is no cost to attend the series, however, seating is limited and reservations are requested.
