LEAD Foundation now taking class applications
The LEAD Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, community leadership foundation, organized in the state of Florida for educational purposes.
It takes participants on an interactive journey through the community with a focus on: community history, economic development, healthcare, K-12 education, environment, social sectors, the arts, government, criminal justice system, higher education, agricultural and various non-profit aspects that make up our community.
Participants will look at the community through the eyes of a servant leader, as they serve first and then lead, ultimately charging graduates to get involved and become “community trustees.”
Tuition is $2,750 and covers all materials, meals, ground transportation and lodging for the duration of the program. A limited number of scholarships are available for demonstrated need and tuition can be paid in installments if needed.
LEAD class slated to open Sept. 10, interested participants must submit their applications by Sept. 7.
