Cape Coral
Cape Coral-Lee County Library
This month we welcome three artists with very different art.
Mary Widmer, moved from Illinois to Florida when her husband retired. In 2001 she took her first art course at Edison Community College and was on her way. She has exhibited in many art leagues, Arts for Act and Big Arts to name just a few.
Ann Harrison May was born without arms and has learned to use her feet for everything else and has done more with her life than most of us. She feels expressing art is allowing the body and soul to connect with the spirit within life. She wants to bring out the bright and brilliant colors of the art world into this difficult and confusing life.
She has been in social work most of her adult life and her love for the arts has led her to work with the disabled. She is a member of the Mouth and Foot Painting Association and through them her work is sold internationally. Don’t miss this exhibit of her amazing art.
Cynthia McIntyre: Bunkyworks is her funky name for her funky art; colorful, quirky glass pieces that range from rainbow-striped plates to jewelry. Bunkyworks at Riverside Park is home to her used glass art studio.
