Cape Coral Arts Studio
The Cape Coral Arts Studio, 4533 Coronado Parkway, presents:
– Call to artists for the 17th annual Aquarium Exhibit: Depict life beneath the waves, real or imaginary, realistic or abstract.
– Today-Aug. 1: Summer 1 class session. Register early for classes in the fine arts and fine crafts for adults and youth.
– Today-June 29: Exhibit area in the main lobby of Cape Coral City Hall features the artwork of three local artists and teachers, representing the studio. Painter and teacher Ann McCarty Sickels, teacher Sue Moody and teacher Joan Roberts.
– Today-June 29: Southwest Florida Craft Guild features the clay work of Mike and Carol Natko.
– Today-Aug. 14: Fine arts for kids camp. Camp available for children age 7-12. Before-care and after-care available.
– Saturday: Bead show by the Stone Age Emporium from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Free and open to public.

– June 26: Free science-fiction book signing of “The Year’s Best Science Fiction: Twenty-Sixth Annual Collection” with artist Chad Beatty from 6-8 p.m. Light refreshments provided. Beatty’s painting “Mediation” is featured as the book’s cover image. The book will be available Tuesday at book stores. Beatty is a Fort Myers artist.
