Cape Coral

Cape Coral Yacht Club

The Cape Coral Yacht Club offers the following camps:

– Beginners fishing camp for tykes, age 5-9: Monday-June 19, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Resident fee is $75 and $80 for non-residents.

– Youth sailing, age 8-17: June 22-July 2, 8:30 a.m.-noon. Resident fee is $175 and non-resident fee is $185.

– Kids kayak camp, age 9-17: June 22-26, 1-4 p.m. Resident fee is $100 and non-resident fee is $110.

– Powerboat camp, age 9-17: June 29-July 2, 1-5 p.m. Resident fee is $150 and non-resident fee is $165.

– Beach bums exploration age, 4-14: June 29-July 3, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Resident fee is $50 and non-resident fee is $60.

– End of Summer Camp, age 8-12: July 27-31, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Cost is $115 for residents and $125 for non-residents.

– Horse Camp, age 7-16: Monday-June 19, June 22-26 and June 25-July 1.

North Fort Myers

Teen Camp

Teen Camp is open to ages 12-16 and runs June 22-Aug. 1 from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Scheduled programs take place between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Registration is $60 per week and includes lunch. Camp price per week is $54 if registered online.

Fort Myers

Baseball camp

Miracle Baseball will hold its three-day youth baseball camps at Hammond Stadium in June and July. Kids from 6-12 will learn how to run like Ben Revere, hit like Steve Singelton and pitch like David Bromberg.

This year’s camp for age 6-8 will be from June 24-26 and the camp for age 9-12 is July 27-29. Each runs from 9 a.m.-noon.

A special one-day advanced camp for age 13-18 is scheduled for July 20. For $115 each child will receive breakfast of donuts and juice, lunch, a camp T-shirt, baseball cap and more.

Shell Museum Summer Camp

– Monday-June 19: Puppet Theater at Camp Mollusk. Age 6-12; cost is $125. Camp for age 9-12; cost is $250. Camps are from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

– June 22-26: Sea Life Adventure Camp. Age 5-7; cost is $60. Camp is from 9-11:30 a.m. Age 9-12; cost is $250. Camp is from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

– July 6-10, 13-17: “Lights, Camera, Mollusks.” Final project will involve creating a 15- to 20-minute documentary on mollusks. Camp for age 9-12; cost is $250. Camp is from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

– August 3-7: Mollusk Cartoon Camp with cartoonist Dave Horton. Age 6-12; cost is $60. Camp is from 9-11:30 a.m.
