Blood pressure checks
Cape Coral Hospital Auxiliary conducts blood pressure tests every Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the hospital main lobby. For more information call 574-0206.
Alcoholics Anonymous
For information about meeting times and addresses in Cape Coral and the rest of Lee County call the Lee County Area Intergroup Central Office in Fort Myers at 275-5111. Al-Anon is an organization for family and friends of alcoholics. Information about Al-Anon meetings is also available at the Intergroup office phone number.
Diabetes Support Group
Diabetes Support Group of Southwest Florida, in conjunction with Lee Diabetes Care of Lee Memorial Health System meets at 9:30 a.m. the second Thursday of each month, at Cape Coral Hospital L.I.F.E. Center, 636 Del Prado Blvd. The meetings are free, although monetary donations are accepted. Coffee and sugar free snacks are served. Multiple Sclerosis support group
The Multiple Sclerosis support group meets the first Sunday of each month at Cape Coral Hospital, meeting room A (just off the main lobby) from 3 to 4:30 p.m. For information call Rick at 541-0268 or Kevin at 542-2549
The MS support group also meets at St. Hilary’s Episcopal Church, 5011 McGregor Blvd., corner of Colonial at 7 p.m., the third Thursday of every month. For information call 574-4271.
