Plastic surgery seminars
Dr. Robert J. Brueck will conduct two plastic surgery seminars
in Cape Coral, May 27 and June 10
On Wednesday, May 27, from 6 to 8 p.m., Dr. Brueck will discuss “The Real Truth about Cosmetic Surgery”, focusing on facial rejuvenation.
On Wednesday, June 10, from, 6 to 8 p.m. the subject will be body contouring.

Susan Marie Scleroderma Foundation
The local Susan Marie Scleroderma Foundation, Inc. founded to increase awareness of the disease, will be one of the featured groups present during the Sunset Celebration at the Cape Coral Yacht Club Wednesday, June 3. Representatives of the non-profit, 501(c)3 organization will be located in the Yacht Club pavilion to answer questions and provide information about scleroderma.
Connie Bucholzl, resident of the group, said the foundation was formed after her sister, Susan marie, passed away from the disease in 2007.

Spay-Lee garage sale
SPAY-LEE is a non- profit 501 (c)(3) no-kill animal rescue group. We are an all volunteer organization and the dogs and cats are fostered in our volunteers homes. Some of the pets are taken two weekends a month (the first and third weekends) to Pet Smart at Page Filed Commons for adoptions. SPAY-LEE is only funded by donations and fund-raisers. With this difficult time in our economy, we are outpacing our resources with more pets given up for adoption and many with expensive health issues. We are trying to attract more volunteers and donations to meet the increased needs of these pets.

Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Meeting
The Akzheimer’s Support Group meeting will include an opportunity for caregivers to meet others who are facing similar challenges and to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease and effective coping strategies.

Wellness and Rehab Center 25th anniversary
The Lee Center for Wellness and Rehabilitation, located at 2070 Carrell Road, Fort Myers, is celebrating its 25th anniversary throughout the month of May.
CHADD
CHADD is the nations leading non-profit organization serving people of all ages affected by Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD).
CHADD of Lee County is a local chapter of the national organization. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday (with the exception of November) of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lee Memorial Hospital Auditorium, 2776 Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers. Meetings are free and open to the public. The next meeting to be held June 2, a round table of support. CPR classes
The American Red Cross of Lee County will be conducting free Adult CPR/AED classes to celebrate National CPR/AED Awareness Week June 6, at the Urgent Care Center of Southwest Florida in Estero (10201 Arcos Ave.).
Sudden cardiac arrest kills more than 900 adults each day in the United States and providing CPR immediately following sudden cardiac arrest can double or triples a victim’s chance of survival.
Join the Red Cross on Saturday, June 6, and become prepared to save a life.
