Cape Christian Fellowship

DayBreak Fellowship

Vacation Bible School hosted by DayBreak Fellowship will take place June 15-19 with an Australian-themed event for children in kindergarten through 5th grades. Boomerang Express will feature outback guides teaching kids through age 7 fun rotation sites, including Worship Rally Central, Bible Study Outback, Music Opera House, Crafts Crossing, Missions Harbor, Recreation Rock and G’Day Cafe.

The event takes place each evening from 6-8:30 at the Freida B. Smith Special Populations Center, 400 Santa Barbara Blvd. The program is free.

First Baptist Church of Cape Coral is offering several community outreach meetings each week. All meetings are open to the public and are held on the First Baptist Church campus at 4117 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral.

Christian Center

Trinity Lutheran Church & School

Free Vacation Bible School will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church & School Monday, June 22, through Friday June 26. Hours are Monday, June 22, 8:30 a.m.-noon; and Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m.-noon.

Children entering kindergarten fall 2009 up to 14 are invited to attend.

Camp E.D.G.E. (Experience and Discover God Everywhere) will offer children an adrenaline-filled and creative Bible-based program that puts the extreme in their faith journey.

Turning Point Church

The Turning Point Church, currently meeting at 315 S.W. 2nd Ave., in the William Austen Cape Coral Youth Center near Cape Coral Charter School will have a Family Fellowship Pig Roast on Saturday, May 30. The feast will be held at a members house, The location and times will be announced at church this week. The feast is free.

Church services are held each week in the Youth Center on Sundays at 10 a.m. Senior Pastors D and Belinda encourage the area to attend.

The church continues to assist in the community while sponsoring a co-ed adult softball team that participates in the Cape Coral Church leagues on Fridays, has children’s ministries and has started a ladies Bible study.

Fort Myers

Aglow International

Aglow International South-west Florida Advance, Saturday, May 23, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Lido Beach Holiday Inn, Sarasota. The guest speaker will be J. Lee Grady, editor of Ministries Today and Chirisma magazines.

First Baptist Church

The VOICES of Mobile, a Christian vocal ensemble that has played at the White House, will be in Fort Myers Sunday, Sunday, May 17, for a special concert at First Baptist Church of Fort Myers, 1735 Jackson St., in downtown Fort Myers.

The concert is planned for 10:30 a.m., as part of the church’s regular Sunday worship services.

First Baptist Church of Fort Myers is one of the area’s oldest churches and was founded in 1892. Services are offered at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays with Bible study at 9 a.m., and at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. For information, call 334-7747.

Faith Outreach

“Faith In Action Community Outreach” will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Riverdale Shopping Center (in the old Winn-Dixie plaza) on the corner of Palm Beach Boulevard and Buckingham Road in Fort Myers.

Families can come enjoy free snacks, face painting, live music, games, bounce house, prizes and more.
