Justice Center, others need volunteers
The Lee County Administra-tive Office of the Courts is seeking volunteers to assist with the operation of the public information desk at the Lee County Justice Center Complex.
The volunteer opportunity is for anyone interested in meeting people and learning about the local court system.
Volunteers are needed to greet visitors and provide general information to assist the public in finding courtrooms, departments and government offices.
Orientation will be provided along with reference materials and a tour of the complex to see firsthand what exists and where everything is located.

Habit for Humanity of Lee County, a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating sub-standard housing by building decent and affordable homes for deserving families, is in need of volunteers. Opportunities include construction (various tasks,) assistance in the thrift stores, mailings, and office assistance.

Volunteers serve as computer coaches, book shelvers and menders, clerical helpers, special events assistants, and other responsibilities as needed. n Senior Friendship Centers needs a retired volunteer nurse to assist four hours a week at a new Health/Wellness program at Hatton Rogers Residential Facility in North Fort Myers. Duties to include patient intake and screening, assisting physicians, assisting and answering patient questions. Also, referring patients to local resources, and training other volunteer staff. may work with Medication Assistance Program for low-income seniors. Bilingual a plus.
