Alliance to host Young Artists Awards seminar
The Young Artists Awards program, in conjunction with the Lee County Alliance for the Arts, will host a free seminar from 1-3 p.m. Saturday for students ages 8-21 in the performing arts from throughout Southwest Florida.
The seminar will feature a panel of seven experts in the areas of dance, drama, classical and contemporary voice, musical theatre and instrumental music, sharing their expertise and information on how to further one’s education and careers in the performing arts.
There will be a group discussion, question and answer session, and the opportunity to speak individually with the panelists. Information about scholarship opportunities will be shared and door prizes will be awarded.

The Alliance for the Arts supports artists and arts organizations in the area as the state designated Local Arts Agency for Lee County.
The Alliance for the Arts galleries are open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at 10091 McGregor Blvd.
