‘Cherish the Children’ to benefit Imaginarium
Plan to pull up a chair or bench for the annual fundraising event for the Imaginarium Hands-On Museum & Aquarium on Saturday, April 18, at 7 p.m. at The Edison Restaurant in Fort Myers.
The “Cherish the Children” Event & Auction is a unique fund raiser that will feature more than two dozen individually designed and hand-painted chairs and bar stools, trays, coat racks, wine cubes, and mirrors by local artists as part of the Silent Auction.
Special one-of-a-kind items up for Live Auction include an exclusive Red Sox Bat Boy experience, a surprise from the Diamond District and a weekend for two at the Pink Shell Beach Resort!
Hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and live music all will be part of this festive evening. Tickets for the event are $50 per person and can be purchased online at www.imaginariumfortmyers.com
Artwork will be displayed at The Edison Restaurant located on 3583 McGregor Boulevard, beginning April 6. Local sponsors include Gulf & Main Magazine, The Edison Restaurant and the Boston Red Sox. Auction items are provided courtesy of supporters. Proceeds from the evening event support the educational exhibits and programs at the Imaginarium Hands-On Museum & Aquarium.
