1 min read

A group of local senior-oriented businesses has formed CAMEO (or Cooperative Associates Marketing Elderly Options) to help serve the elderly in Lee County. In accordance with their Mission Statement, CAMEO plans to serve the needs of these seniors by:

Communicating information on available services and resources;

Providing access to current information on government programs and funding, identifying service gaps in our community and providing available solutions and working as a team to improve the quality of life for our Older Adults through networking and the sharing of ideas and values.

The group consists of hundreds of professionals that work with seniors in many different capacities. A monthly networking meeting is held on the third Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. The location of the meeting changes each month. CAMEO will collect dues from members and these funds will benefit seniors in the Lee County community.
