Environmentalist Douglas honored

Marjorie Stoneman Douglas, an American journalist, writer and environmentalist, was a staunch protector of the Florida Everglades. She was an outspoken activist and accomplished writer who led a colorful and fascinating life. Watch as Annie Mrozinski brings Marjorie Stoneman Douglaston to life as she tells her remarkable story.

To add to the festivities of the afternoon a Fashion Show will be presented by the Pink Pineapple. The store features Lilly Pulitzer fashions.

All proceeds from this afternoon will go to support the Southwest Florida Symphony Society and in turn will support the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra.
