Young Chicks, Old Bags designer purse auction
Join Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida for the 2nd Annual Young Chicks, Old Bags designer purse auction from 6-8 p.m. March 19 at Bell Tower Shops. Cost is $10 per guest. For information or to donate a bag, contact Cecilia St. Arnold at 225-2590 or cstarnold.ja@sfwdb.org.
FORE the Children
Children’s Home Society of Florida and Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida are teaming up to present FORE the Children Charity Golf Invitational on April 21 at Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers.
With help from community volunteers, including event chair Paul Kindred, vice president of Gartner, the golf scramble begins with an 8 a.m. shotgun start and includes continental breakfast, lunch, prizes and more. Registration is $85 per individual or $300 per foursome. Sponsorships are available.
Children’s Home Society of Florida and Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida, United Way partner agencies, collaborate to serve children and teens in foster care and joined fund-raising forces to help effectively meet area needs.
