You’re never too old to find your ‘Forever Sweetheart’
On Saturday, Feb. 14, two residents of Juniper Village at Cape Coral professed they will be “Forever Sweethearts.”
Graham Murray asked his girlfriend of nearly three years to be his forever more. Johnnie May, 89, and Murray, 82, have been sweethearts since both moving into the assisted living community three years ago. They both moved into the community in March 2006. On Valentine’s Day, Graham presented his sweetie with a gorgeous ring at the first annual Sweethearts Day Dance. Nearly 75 people were in attendance.
“We are truly alive in all seasons of our lives here at Juniper Village at Cape Coral. Our theme is Nurturing the Spirit of Life, daily. Love is one of the greatest way to lift your spirits,” said Daisy Godbee, connections director at Juniper Village.
