Cape Baptist Church

The Cape Baptist Church announce its new web site, www.capebaptist.org. This is way to learn more about the church. The church started on Sept. 2, 2007. Visit the site and learn about the radio ministry, service times, Ladies’ Tea and much more. Pastor Holler’s messages are also available on the web site for the listening. The Cape Baptist Church meets every Sunday at Trafalgar Middle School in the cafeteria. Sunday times are Coffee and Fellowship at 10:30 and the Morning Worship Service is at 11. A junior church is provided for children ages 3 through 10. Everyone is welcome.

Cape Christian Fellowship

Pastor Dennis Gingerich continues the “Reveal” series with the message, “What is Your Next Step?” Growth starts by becoming aware of where we are currently at but continues only as we identify the barriers and embrace the catalysts that inspire us to get where we want to go.

There are three contemporary worship gatherings available, Saturday 5 p.m., and Sunday at 9 or 11 a.m. There are classes for children and youth and a nursery provided during all worship gatherings.

The EDGE High School gathering is held on Wednesdays 7-8:30 p.m

Cape Coral Turning Point Church

The Cape Coral Turning Point Church, currently meeting in the William Austen Youth Center in Cape Coral, 315 S.W. 2nd Ave will hold special services on Sunday,, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. Praise and worship will be led by Tiffany West and Vicki Greene, followed by a message from Senior Pastor Dennis West. The church offers Children’s Church from 10:30-11:30 a.m. led by Jodie Wheatly. The church also offers co-ed softball, Ladies Bible study, and monthly area family trips. Christ Lutheran Church

The sixth annual Christ Lutheran Church Octoberfest In March is moving to the Shell Factory, announced event organizer Don Ostrowsky. The annual event will take place Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15 on the grounds of the attraction located at 2787 North Tamiami Trail in North Fort Myers.

The event will be held away from the Christ Lutheran Church campus in Cape Coral for the first time, as it has outgrown the available parking.

All of the profits from the event go to those in need including the Cape Coral Caring Center and Community Cooperative Ministries, Inc. Over the last four years the event raised over $50,000.

Entertainment at the event includes three-time Grammy winner and Canada’s Polka King Walter Ostanek, Bob Kravos (grand nephew of Frank Yankovic) & the Boys in the Band from Cleveland, the Yankovic Sound from Milwaukee and more.

DayBreak Fellowship

“Fireproof Your Marriage” a small group study, a six-week class for married couples integrating Bible study, movie clips, individual and couple’s devotionals and thought-provoking discussion questions to challenge members to grow spiritually and relationally. Wesleyan Church

Diplomat Wesleyan Church at 1833 Diplomat Parkway, E., presents the 14th Annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, arch 14, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Free general admission. First Church of God (Anderson, Ind.)

The First Church of God of Cape Coral is a growing, multi-cultural place to worship.

The winter series of gospel music began in January. On the first Sunday of each month a musical group will minister during morning worship service.

The Doerfel Family with Bluegrass Gospel. March 1. Last Generation Ministries will finish up the series with word and song on April 5.

Grace Church

Grace Church Cape Coral has opened the Grace Community Center on 4151 Hancock

Bridge Parkway. The GCC serves as the site of the Grace North Fort Myers Campus Sunday Service at 10 a.m., and it supports GED classes, Food Pantry and the Blanket Ministry for the Homeless . It provides GED classes and soon a parenting class will be held . The Thrift Shop is open Tuesday, 10 a.m. -4 p.m. and Wednesday-Saturday, 10-4. Plans are in the works for free/low cost medical with new teams forming to feed the hungry, clothe the needy, heal the sick, and educate the uneducated. Grace Church and the Community Center believe that each person who is snatched from a life of addiction and violence and brought to a life of dignity and freedom can only help the crime ridden communities in SWFL.

How you can help:

Volunteer in the thrift shop, donate un-needed items to the thrift shop. Donate food to feed the hungry, donate blankets for the homeless. The team also delivers towels, any size shampoo and soap, toilet paper, disposable razors, inexpensive ponchos to the homeless. Donate Tuesday to Saturday. Living Faith Church

Living Faith Church located at 939 S.W. 7th Court, on

Feb. 22, at 7 p.m., Paul Todd will be in concert at the church. This will be an evening of Christian music and entertainment!! The Living Faith Church praise band will also be performing. St. Andrew Catholic Church

Trinity Lutheran Church & School

Ash Wednesday Worship Service with Holy Communion will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church and School Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. A free will offering pre-service meal will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the offering and funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Care in Congregations Program will be applied toward upgrading of the sound/projection system. All are welcome.

Wednesday Lenten worship services will be held at 7 p.m. weekly through April 1, with suppers served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Worship services at Trinity are Sundays at 8 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday School is at 9:15 and Bible Class at 9:30 a.m.

Cypress Lake Presbyterian Church-
